Does it cost anything to participate in this program?
No, there is no cost to you. Unlike most fundraising programs, that require you to invest in start up materials or inventory, we supply all the materials you'll need. We provide the shipping supplies and we pay all the shipping costs for you to send them to us.
Do you provide any materials to promote the program?
Yes, you can download sample flyers, posters, letters, press releases and newsletter articles from the Tools section of your TotalTrak.net account. Don't forget to promote your donation link in all of your correspondence. Done correctly you can start a firestorm of support to your Online Donation campaign. Remember, the more you promote the program - the more money you'll raise.
How long does the fundraiser last?
This fundraiser is a year round event. Many schools and organizations have a year round recycling effort, promoting it continually throughout the year. In fact the more you promote and the longer you participate, the number of cell phones collected will grow. We accept cell phones year round, so you can send us cell phones as you collect the minimum quantity.
What can my organization expect to make from a ReCellular?
We pay a minimum of .50 cents for each cellular handset (except for brick phones, bag or transportable phones) and between $4 and $200 for over 600 select models, depending on the current market value for each cell phone at that particular time. Remember, cell phones must be shipped according to our instructions in order to receive payment.
What do you do with the cell phones you buy from my organization?
Many people don't realize that cell phones can be recycled or reused. A cell phone that may be outdated to you, in many instances can be used by someone in another state or even another country. Some cell phones are used by law enforcement and victim services organizations as emergency communications for senior citizens and victims of abuse. If a cell phone cannot be re-used it is recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
